Celebrating Cessnock's Creative Community welcomes everyone interested in creative endeavours to meet free of charge on the first Wednesday of every month at Hotel Cessnock.

Hotel Cessnock has reserved their lounge area for the creative community from 5-9pm. There's plenty of room to sketch, write, knit, swap tips each other or simply enjoy a drink or a meal in the companionship of like-minded old and new friends.

Artists can bring materials to work on a current project, brainstorm a new one or just relax.

Every month features either a live model or still life for artists to draw or paint. A writers' silent zone allows authors to concentrate on their work. A well-lit area enables textile artists to knit, designers to draw or leadlight artists to sketch their next masterpiece.
