Cessnock 14-year-old Zack Fitzpatrick maintained his unbeaten record with a unanimous decision against Tasmania Cayden Rossi at the Detonation 14 fight night at NEX, the former Wests City Newcastle on Saturday night.
Minto started slow against Clancy but brought the fight home in the second half with his fitness.
"He needed to shake off a bit of ring dust, but it was the fittest I've ever seen him and it showed at the end," Minto's trainer Ben Crampton said.
It's Blakes fourth belt as a pro. He has been WBF Australasian champion, WBF international champion, WBF world champion and now IBO Asia Pacific Champion.
"We were made an offer to make his first defence of the IBO later this year in New Zealand."
Minto thanked his sponsors and his team for the hours and hard work they put in to prepare him.
He said it was an honour to share the ring with Clancy in what was his last fight.
Fitzpatrick took his record to 13-0 finishing strongly against Rossi a former national champion, in his 30th fight.
