Cessnock City Library's annual bargain book sale will start on Tuesday, September 17.
Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said the sale of pre-loved library stock is always very popular.
"Reading is an activity everyone in our community can enjoy and benefit from, I encourage all residents to check out the bargains on offer," Cr Pynsent said.
"There will be something for everyone with ex library items and donations including books, magazines, music and DVDs."
The book sale will start at 9am on Tuesday, September 17 and will run until Friday, September 27 or until all items are sold.
