Leggetts was nominated by Weston JFC for his commitment to a number of teams over the duration of his service to the club.
"It is very pleasing to be able to recognise Dwade for displaying the attitudes and behaviours that Northern NSW Football is trying to instill in all community coaches," NNSWF senior officer community football Ross Hicks said.
"Providing an effective learning environment in a safe and fun way is key to Weston JFC providing a positive football experience to their players and Dwade should be commended for his commitment to the club and the team."
Newcastle Permanent branch manager Jessica Burgoyne congratulated Leggetts on receiving the award.
Leggetts receives a coaching pack including balls, markers, bibs, whistle, polo shirt and cap.
