Suplex Pro Wrestling, a Hunter Valley-based wrestling training school, holds monthly shows at the club.
The Saturday night show, titled Chapter 14: The 14th Chapter, will feature a huge lineup including three championship matches; while the Sunday afternoon show, Homegrown 2, is a special event as it is the first all-Suplex show.
"We usually have to bring in other independent wrestlers to fill the card. But now we are running our first all-homegrown show," Suplex Pro Wrestling founder James Mitchell said.
Mitchell - who wrestles under the name Jackson Spade - founded the training school in 2017 and started running shows in June last year.
He said Homegrown 2 will showcase the new blood of Suplex Pro Wrestling.
Cessnock local Matt 'Muzzdogg' Musgrove is among those who will make their debut in the ring, taking on the Suplex super-villain, The Magnificent Mat Gauge.
Musgrove said he's nervous but excited about the upcoming bout.
"Mat Gauge has been a thorn in everyone's side at Suplex for months now, and I'm super-keen to knock him out cold in front of all my family and friends!" he said.
Other wrestlers will include Rochelle Rogue (taking on her trainer, Jackson Spade), Thomas Taylor, JB Hazard, Bubbles, the Sapa Inca, Blue Guy, the Mad Man Miles Malice, Matthias Clock, Logan Keane, Jack Myhell, Jayden Jacobs, Tyler Gunn and the voice of Suplex, Timothy Wilks.
Mitchell said it's a 100 percent family-friendly show.
"You will be on the edge of your seat, you can cheer your favorites and boo the guys you don't like...We encourage it!" he said.
Chapter Fourteen gets underway at 6pm and tickets are available at moshtix.com.au.
Homegrown 2 will kick off at midday and tickets are $10 at the door.
