Frocktober will be held at St Philip's Christian College Cessnock on Saturday, October 19.
Organiser Suzanne Schroder said the idea of the event is for ladies to bring along a dress or two that they no longer wear and swap it with others.
She said the idea evolved when the church ladies were planning their social events for the year, and decided a 'Frocktober' would be a fun event.
A selection of fabulous finds from the Cessnock Salvation Army store, including clothing and accessories, will be on sale on the night.
Non-alcoholic 'frocktails', supper and entertainment will be included in the ticket price of $15.
All profits will go towards Dignity Bags for women in need, which will be distributed via Hunter Hands for Hope.
The event will start at 7pm and numbers are needed by Friday, October 18 for catering purposes. Call Suzanne on 0402 014 503 to RSVP.
