The workshop will discuss significant weeds in the Cessnock area; support that is available from Hunter Local Land Services and council, and some innovative control techniques, including drone spraying and splatter-gun control methods, will be demonstrated.
This workshop is part of Hunter Local Land Services' Woodland Birds and Key Habitats program, and therefore will focus on weeds that impact on native under-storey plants, such as lantana, as well as other local weeds of concern.
Participants can bring along weeds they want identified on the day (in a sealed container or bag).
The workshop will run from 9.30am to noon, with the location to be announced when registering.
