This two-hour stage spectacular captures the sounds and excitement of American country rock icons The Eagles and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Featuring the Cajun country string quartet, the Kings of Country Rock show is much more than a concert; it's the ultimate rock experience.
The cast of 11 multi-talented and internationally respected musicians bring to life a stage show unlike any other.
The highly-acclaimed show features 30 timeless rock and roll classics that defined these bands as 1970s superstars.
Part one takes the audience on a musical journey of The Eagles, with masterpieces such as Take It Easy, Witchy Woman, Already Gone, One of These Nights, Lyin' Eyes, Take It to the Limit, New Kid in Town, Desperado, Hotel California and Life in the Fast Lane, all faithfully reproduced.
The second half of the show kicks into overdrive, featuring Creedence Clearwater Revival anthems such as Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Up Around The Bend, Born On The Bayou and Have You Ever Seen The Rain, which are sure to get the crowd on their feet.
The show will start at 8pm and tickets are available at the CPAC box office, by calling 4993 4366 or online at cessnockperformingartscentre.com.au.
Quality tribute shows will continue to roll into Cessnock Performing Arts Centre in 2020, with salutes to Roy Orbison (February 14) and the Bee Gees (May 7) already on the program.
Meanwhile, The Voice Australia 2013 winner Harrison Craig will perform the love songs of Elton John at CPAC this Friday night (read more here).
