Hunter Region Business Hub, Kurri Kurri named Best Business Enterprise Centre in Australia

The Hunter Region Business Hub at Kurri Kurri was named best Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) in the nation at the annual BEC Australia conference last month.

Formerly known as the Hunter Region BEC, the Hub has serviced the region for 27 years, offering a range of products and services to assist new and growing businesses, including business advisors, workshops, office space and the NEIS program.

"The Hub is a highly professional business support service, offering a range of quality products, advice and guidance, and it is gratifying to have our good work nationally recognised in this prestigious award," Hunter Region Business Hub general manager Kerry Hallett said.

BEC Australia is the national industry body, with service centres located all across Australia. Its primary focus is to supply dedicated support for small business by providing quality business information, advice and guidance in establishing a business, developing and growing to reach success and profitability for current businesses to create further jobs in the process.
