The Vincent Street business stocks a range of unique jewellery, including semi-precious stones in sterling silver; beaded, wooden, resin and metal fashion jewellery; handbags, wallets and clutches for all occasions, scarves, hats and fascinators.
The store also stocks Himalayan salt lamps, incense, crystals and other New Age products, and a local psychic conducts readings in-store three or four times a month.
Store owner Michelle James said it was a dream come true to purchase the business in 2016.
Jdlani was created in 2004 by Michelle's good friend Gitling Picton, who she met through her previous career in hospitality.
"I had always been interested in owning my own business, and wanted to have something in Cessnock that was offering unique product," Michelle said.
"I was drawn to Jdlani - lets face it, it's every girl's dream to own a jewellery and handbag shop!
"I ended up purchasing the business in July 2016 and have been loving every minute since."
Michelle said it's important to shop locally to keep businesses open and boost Cessnock's economy.
"When you support small local businesses you really are supporting a dream!" she said.
Jdlani is located at 40 Vincent Street, Cessnock, with an online store coming soon.
