The line dancing troupe, family and friends last week donated about $1800 worth of food, toys and vouchers to the Little Juddies Christmas drought appeal.
This included $500 worth of toys from one individual, and $200 in vouchers from the Signature Gardens dancers.
Instructor Christine Marko said the group was happy to support people in the bush, and the selfless work of the Little Juddies.
"When someone needs a hand with something, we're always there to help," Ms Marko said.
The Little Juddies (Mulbring's Judd family) have trucked more than 200 tonnes of food and supplies from the Hunter to drought-affected areas in NSW and Queensland over the past three years.
Bianca Judd said they have been "overwhelmed" with support for this year's appeal.
She estimates they will take about 70 tonnes worth of donations on their Christmas drought run to the NSW towns of Baradine, Bingara and Yeoval, supporting about 330 families.
The Little Juddies are asking for donations of 10 or 20 litres of water, in-date non-perishable foods, toiletries, and first aid supplies before November 22.
Collection points in the Cessnock area include:
- Clayton Barr's office (118 Vincent Street, Cessnock)
- Blanchie's Cafe and Diner (85 Vincent Street, Cessnock)
- Pure Luxury Hair Studio (70 Cessnock Road, Weston)
- Believe Services (31 Station Street, Weston).

CWA support continues
The Cessnock Evening Branch of the Country Women's Association continues to support drought relief, recently giving another $2000 to local CWAs across the state.
Quirindi CWA turned Cessnock's donation into vouchers for the local pharmacy and hairdresser.
"Locals are going without scripts and going to the hairdresser is now a treat. This also supports local businesses," Cessnock evening branch president Ellice Schrader said.
"Nine other branches will be receiving $200 each and it will be up to the local CWA Branch to determine the greatest need in their community."
Money raised catering for the National Trust weekend in Cessnock in October and the Tidy Town awards in November added to the funds, which the branch continually gives away.
Donations for the drought appeal can be made directly to the CWA.
The Cessnock evening branch meets the first Monday of the month at 7pm, at 161 Vincent Street Cessnock.
