Greta/Branxton first grade vice-captain Nathan Holz notched his second century against Peden's Hotel this season in the match played at Miller Park.
Holz came to the crease at the fall of the second wicket, and made the Piranhas pay dearly for several dropped catches on his way to a magnificent 141.
Facing just 106 deliveries, Holz smashed 21 boundaries and cleared the fence on three occasions in a great innings.
Out at Mulbring, Jason Orr continued his recent good batting form with 108 off just 103 balls against the home side. He hit ten boundaries and four maximums.
Meanwhile a couple of great performances with the two-piece saw Peden's Hotel Blue third grade opening bowler Callum Dureau take 7-24 off 10 against Greta/Branxton Blue at Turner Park.
In an equally impressive performance, Chelmsford Hotel fourth grade second-changer Abinandan Sudharsanam took 7-12 off 5.2 in the match against Bellbird at Chinaman's Hollow.
In first grade Bellbird got one back on the old foe in a thrilling finish to scrape home by six runs at Mulbring Oval
After winning the toss the Tigers were bowled out on the final ball of their innings for 212. Orr's fine century was supported by Ben Fairlie (38), Matt Thomson (25) and Joey Millington (19).
Ben Neaves was once again outstanding with the new rock for Mulbring, reaping the rewards of nice full pitched bowling to bag 6-27 off 10.
The Marlins were looking a little shaky at 2-21 in reply, but Brock Gilmour's run-a-ball innings of 88 got the home side right back in the hunt. In a nail-biting finish, Mulbring required 22 to win off the final two overs.
They took seven from the penultimate over, but the big wicket of danger-man Josh Lewis (40) on the final ball of that over just about sealed their fate.
Brad Turner (27) and Jason Varoxis (21no) were the other Marlins batsmen to make starts. Billy Orr (3-71 off 10) and Scott Miller (2-45 off 10) were the pick of the Bellbird bowlers.
Greta/Branxton took a share of the lead on the premiership ladder following their 212-run demolishing of Peden's Hotel at Miller Park.
The Blues batted first and amassed a club one-day first grade record of 6-325 from their forty overs. Holz's superb knock was well-supported by Mark Bercini (64) who found some rare touch, Josh Dagg (46), Darren Thomson (26) and Patrick Andrews (17no).
Matt Zechel (2-98 off 10) and Fletcher Sharpe (2-66 off 7.5) were Peden's best in a trying day for all bowlers.
The Piranhas were skittled inside 28 overs for 113 in reply, with Mark Crowfoot leading the way with 33. Skipper Matt Hopley (18), Dale Johnston (18), Jamie Larson (14) and Sharpe (13) all made starts, but someone really had to press on to a big century to pose a real threat to the mammoth target. Patrick Andrews (3-18 off 7), Connor Thomson (3-43 off 5) and Martin Shearer (2-9 off 3.1) shared the wickets for the home side.
Wine Country had the bye.
