Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families with children undergoing care at John Hunter Children's Hospital.
More than 600 families stay at Ronald McDonald House Newcastle every year.
Kurri Sunrise Rotary Club vice-president Des Mills said it was the third time the club has donated to Ronald McDonald House, and that the club was proud to support the charity again.
"It really is a wonderful place; the job they do while people are in stress because of their loved ones are in hospital," he said.
The money was raised at the Rotary club's Craft Affair, which held in October as part of the Town of Murals Art and Craft Festival.
Kurri Sunrise Rotary Club meets at St Paul's Anglican Church Hall, Kurri Kurri on Wednesdays at 7.30am. Visitors and new members are welcome.
