Cessnock Supports, a partnership between Reflex Social Services, Cessnock Freemasons and LJ Hooker Cessnock, was launched last month.
The program aims to provide a supportive space to foster residents' wellbeing and resilience.
Reflex Social Services head of communications Alicia Sneller said the launch on November 27 was well-received.
"We had some promising interest in what we're doing, and generous donations to help us set up," she said.
This month's meeting will focus on managing stress, families and grief at Christmas. The meeting will run from 5pm to 7pm and all are welcome.
A community survey on social isolation and mental health issues in the Cessnock LGA is being conducted at cessnocksupports.com.
