Cooper took the new ball and ripped through the Greta/Branxton batting line-up, taking wickets in just about every over to finish with 8-28 off 8.2 in an exceptional spell of bowling.
Just the one first grade game was played, with Bellbird picking up an important victory after winning a five-run thriller against Wine Country at Allandale Oval.
Bellbird batted first and compiled a healthy 7-252 from their forty overs, with most batsmen getting runs.
Surprisingly, no one scored a half-century, with Kane Bradley (46 not out), Jason Orr (46), Matt Shreiber (35), Ben Fairlie (33), Joey Millington (32) and Matt Fairlie (31) all scoring freely.
Dean Elliott (2-23 off 6) and Sam Peacock (2-51 off 6) were the pick of the Wine Country attack with a brace of wickets each.
The home side went painfully close to snatching an unlikely win, falling just shy of the target with five wickets in hand.
Former skipper Matt Lightfoot batted beautifully at the top of the order for 79, receiving good support from Josh Dwyer (43no), Elliott (39), Peacock (25) and John Dwyer (21no) there with his son at the close of the match.
Orr was the best of the Tigers' bowlers with 2-56 off 10.
The loss sees the Wood Ducks still winless for the year, with their semi-final hopes rapidly fading away.
The match between Greta/Branxton and Mulbring at Miller Park was cancelled due to the poor air quality.
Peden's Hotel had the bye.
