WITH more than 40 years experience in dance with with 27 years of teaching under her belt, Kirsty, of Kirsty Gunther Academy of Dance has what it takes to teach a variety of dance styles including tap, jazz, hip-hop, RAD ballet, lyrical and contemporary.

Offering classes to all ages, the popular tiny tots classes, for children aged 18 months to three years old, are designed to help develop coordination, balance, rhythm and social skills, as well as a love for music and the art of dance.

Parents and carers are encouraged to join in during these fun classes with their tiny tots. For students aged three years and over, classes provide the opportunity to develop more technical aspects of dance in a fun and structured environment.

During 2019, KGAD's students were given the opportunity to perform at many events throughout the local community including Cessnock Performing Arts Centre season launch, Relay for Life, Hunter Dancing With the Stars, Echoes of Pink Floyd and the Cessnock Stomp Festival.

Students also competed at numerous eisteddfods through NSW and participated at various workshops with leading performers and dancers from around the country with events in 2020 already being organised.

The 2020 enrolment day is Tuesday, January 28 at Abermain 4 - 6.30pm with classes resuming on February 3. For more information phone Kirsty on 0409 452 852 or email kirstygunther@gmail.com or visit Facebook.
