Cessnock batted first and posted a healthy 247 after being bowled out in the 49th over of the 50-over contest.
Hard-hitting Peden's Hotel skipper Matt Hopley was Cessnock's best with the willow, blasting 69.
Drew Olsen was next best with 44, and while most other batsmen made starts, the final wicket 56-run partnership between Greta/Branxton duo Patrick Andrews (21) and Martin Shearer (19 not out) provided some light-hearted entertainment.
Cameron Ross (27), Darren Thomson (18) and Brent Watson (14) also made handy contributions.
Singleton were all out the 49th over for a neat 200.
Connor Thomson (3-34 off 9.4) and Darren Thomson (3-45 off 6) took a treble of wickets each for Cessnock, with Ross (2-48 off 10) and Zach Sneesby (1-21 off 8) picking up the remainder.
The squad: Joey Butler, Greg Andrews, Matt Hopley, Drew Olsen, Cameron Ross, Darren Thomson, Brent Watson, Reuben Andrews, Patrick Andrews, Zach Sneesby, Martin Shearer, Connor Thomson, Jason Varoxis, Matt Zechel, Nathan Holz, Mick Mascord, Daniel Russell, Kyle Hall, Luke Jeans and Ben Wood.
Twenty20 update
With some much-needed rain falling across the district last Saturday, all CDCA round four T20 matches were washed out.
With Bellbird already through to the Tier One final this coming Sunday, their opponent will be the winner of the match between Peden's Hotel and Greta/Branxton at East End on Saturday.
If scores are tied at the end of the match, a super over will be played to decide the winner. A washout would see Peden's go through.
Greta/Branxton has booked on spot in the Tier 2 final and will face the winner of the game between Peden's Hotel and Wine Country on Saturday, also at East End.
With both teams on equal points, a washout would see Wine Country go through.
The Tier One and Two finals will be played at East End this Sunday, with Tier Two at 10.30am and Tier One at 2pm.
