Cessnock Supports is a free mental health support group that meets monthly at the Masonic Hall in Cumberland Street. The program aims to provide a supportive space to foster residents' wellbeing and resilience. All are welcome have a chat, share a cold drink or a cup of tea, meet new people, and learn new things about mental health and self care. Meetings are led by a trained counsellor. BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

Cessnock Breast Cancer Support Group's first meeting for 2020 will be held on Wednesday, February 5. Up for discussion will be the group's plans for the year. The group was formed in 2006 to help any woman in the Cessnock LGA who had been diagnosed with breast cancer and needed a forum to talk and listen to other women who were going through breast cancer or had survived the experience.Contact Katrina on 0422 978 254 for more information.
