Music 4 Mental Health is being held at the end of what's been a tough and trying summer for the people of the Wollombi Valley.
It will feature performances by award-winning father-daughter duo Darryl and Harmony Lovegrove, local acappella quartet Rise and the Wollombi Valley Community Choir, with renowned comedian and actor Alan Glover as MC.
Event organiser Rosie Hansen said the idea behind the concert is two-fold: to raise money for mental health charity Everymind, and to bring visitors back to the Wollombi Valley after the recent bushfire crisis.
"My original thought of doing a fundraiser for mental health was escalated after the fires," Ms Hansen said.
"A lot of people out here are suffering from stress and anxiety, grief and loss."

Ms Hansen said a lot of local businesses are still struggling after the fires, when the valley was cut off for several weeks.
"We are trying to encourage people to come into the Wollombi Valley - we want people to contribute what they can after the fires," she said.
Ms Hansen said Music 4 Mental Health will be a great night out, for a great cause, with "good old-fashioned songs that people can sing along to".
"Hopefully we will lift the roof off that little Laguna Village Hall," she said.
The show will start at 8pm. Tickets are $35 ($30 for concession) and are available at trybooking.com, Wollombi General Store and GNTP Laguna.
