ART EXHIBITION
The Old Fireshed Wollombi
Laguna artists Jane Mowatt, Janine Oliver, Jordis Pointu, Jillian Ryder and Linda Wilkinson have joined together to form 'Laguna Collective'. Their exhibition is open daily from 10am to 4pm until August 9, COVID-19 restrictions permitting.
RETIRED MINEWORKERS AGM
The Cessnock and Kurri Kurri branches of the Retired Mineworkers Association will both hold their annual general meetings on Monday, August 10.
The Cessnock branch will meet at Cessnock Leagues Club at 10am, with Cessnock MP Clayton Barr the guest speaker. All office bearers positions will become vacant at the meeting.
The Kurri Kurri meeting will be held at the Senior Citizens Centre in Barton Street, also at 10am on Monday. The main item of business will be the election of officers for 2020-2021.
TOASTMASTERS

NETWORK VIA ZOOM
Cessnock Chamber of Commerce's August networking meeting will once again be held online via Zoom.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11 from 8am to 9am. The guest speaker will be Nichole Orr from Coutts Mallik Rees, who will provide tips for small business during the COVID-19 pandemic. The chamber also will give an update on their current projects.
