About 600 people took part in last year's inaugural event, which included a walk along Vincent Street to the TAFE grounds.
With large gatherings still prevented in NSW, the committee decided to move the event online.
It will be held on November 25, which is the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women.
The organisers will be encouraging schools, businesses, sporting groups, organisations and individuals to get involved and show their support.
Stay tuned for more information about how to get involved by following Cessnock Walks Kawuma on Facebook.
