Entry forms can be completed online at visitkurrikurri.com, or hard copies can be obtained at the Kurri Kurri Visitor Information Centre.
Categories include miniature, traditional, contemporary, watercolour, flowers/still life, Indigenous and pencil, pen or ink on paper; plus junior sections broken into three age groups: infants (preschool to year 2), primary (year 3 to 6) and high school (year 7 to 11).
The show will run from October 8 to 11, in conjunction with the Sunrise Rotary Craft Affair, at 110 Lang Street, Kurri Kurri.
Art show committee secretary Sharon Dyson-Smith said a COVID-safe plan has been developed for the show.
"Towns With Heart president Toby Thomas has made the former Betta Electrical store available as an exhibition space, which allows us to provide social distancing," she said.
"In these difficult times, we hope that entries continue to roll in, and we can present a show which will uplift community spirits."
Entry will be by gold coin donation, with the exception of the official opening on the Thursday evening, which - to comply with Public Health Orders - will be a booked event, with tickets from visitkurrikurri.com.
Inquiries about the art show can be directed to the Kurri Kurri Visitor Information Centre on 4936 1909.
