Pending COVID restrictions, the food and wine festival will be held in Vincent Street on Sunday, April 11.
This year's Stomp festival was postponed, and eventually cancelled, due to the restrictions on large gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
An initiative of the Cessnock Chamber of Commerce, the festival has drawn crowds of up to 17,000 people in previous years.
The 2021 festival will be held on the first Sunday of the April school holidays, and the day after the Hunter Valley Gin and Jazz Festival at Hope Estate.
"Mark it in your diaries now. This weekend is going to be huge in the Hunter Valley," Stomp festival coordinator Anthony Burke said.
Stallholder bookings and ticket sales will open early next year. Stay tuned to cessnockstomp.com or the festival's Facebook page for more information.
