HOLIDAY PROGRAM AT PCYC
PCYC Cessnock's school holiday program, for kids aged 5-12, continues until Friday this week. A range of sports, games and creative activities will be on offer. The club also has an 18-metre rock climbing wall and an indoor skate park. Places are limited; bookings are essential on 4991 1407.

CAR WASH
Central Rural Fire Brigade will hold its first car wash and barbecue for the year at its South Avenue station this Saturday from 8.30am. Cost is $10 per car.
RETIRED MINEWORKERS
Kurri Retired Mineworkers will meet at Kurri Senior Citizens Centre on Monday, October 12 at 10am. The guest speaker will be Doug Styles, from Cessnock District Rescue Squad and St John Ambulance.
The Cessnock branch will also meet on Monday, at Cessnock Leagues Club at 10.30am. Justina Gorgievski will be the guest speaker.
CHAMBER BREAKFAST
Cessnock Chamber of Commerce will hold a networking breakfast at Cessnock Leagues Club on Tuesday, October 13. The meeting will focus on domestic violence and mental health. The breakfast will start at 7am and tickets are available at cessnockchamber.com.au. Read more here.
