A pre-loved formal wear pop-up shop will be held at Branxton Community Hall this Saturday from 10am to noon.
The pop-up shop was organised by local resident Helen Scott, who wanted to help students who may not be able to afford a brand new formal outfit this year.
"A lot of families are struggling financially this year due to COVID, and we don't want the kids to miss out," she said.
Helen sought donations from the local community through an event she called 'Declutter Your Wardrobe', and had an overwhelming response, with more than 100 dresses dropped off.
Some dresses are brand new with tags, others are gently worn, and nothing is priced over $50. Shoes, jewellery, clutch purses and fascinators and men's suits and shirts are also available.
All money goes back to the original owner, with cash sales only.
The hall is located at 35 Bowen Street, Branxton.
