Huntlee's second display home village has opened, and business is booming.
The village boasts the latest designs from 11 of the state's leading builders, including Candor Homes, Coral Homes, Hudson Homes, Hunter Homes, McDonald Jones Homes, Metricon, Mojo, Montgomery Homes, Thrive Homes, Eden Brae and Bellriver.
Huntlee sales director Robert Crane said he was delighted with the mix of builders and designs on offer.
"We've hand-picked our builder partners to ensure there is something to suit the lifestyle, life stage and budget of all of our buyers," Mr Crane said.
"Huntlee is the first new town to be built in the Hunter in well over 50 years and, as a fully master-planned community, it's attracting people of all ages and stages in life.
"In the new display village, we have designs suited to first homebuyers, upsizers, empty nesters and everything in between."
In the new year, Mr Crane and his sales team will be relocating from the current land sales centre on Triton Boulevard to a custom-built home at the entrance to the new display village on Peachy Avenue.
"It just makes sense for us to be in the middle of the action," he said.
"Prospective home buyers can walk through the 18 fabulous homes, chat to the on-site builder reps about their wants, needs and aspirations and then, once they have their perfect home design pinned down, come and talk to us and we can ensure they choose a site which is sized and orientated to suit their design."
Mr Crane said 2020 has delivered record sales for his team - despite the global pandemic, or perhaps because of it.
"We are being inundated with inquiries, many from people who've been living in Sydney and, thanks to the changes brought about this year, have realised they want more out of life," he said.
"Changes to work practices have made many realise the opportunities of working from home, they're no longer tied to a traditional office environment."
On completion, Huntlee will comprise 7500 lots and be home to approximately 20,000 residents.
About 1000 residents currently call the LWP master-planned town home.
Huntlee's first shopping centre - with a Coles supermarket and 11 specialty shops - opened last month.
The nearby Huntlee Tavern is almost complete and expected to be open by Melbourne Cup Day.
