Music lovers can expect an evening of smooth jazz standards from three of Newcastle's finest virtuosos on Friday, November 6.
Accomplished jazz pianist Terence Koo will be joined by Andrew Wallace on double bass and Rob Coxen on drums.
A musician, composer, lecturer, teacher and recording artist, Terence Koo has performed with a veritable who's who of Australian music throughout his 20-year music career, including Su Cruickshank, Damien Leith, Bruce Mathiske, Wendy Matthews, and Glenn Shorrock, to name just a few.
Koo has been the musical director for numerous bands and projects, has released three albums (Pieces of Rain, Lunacity, and disCOVERies) and been a session musician on many others, including Marcia Hines's 2014 album Amazing.
His piano style has been described as smooth and elegant, and his wicked sense of humour seeps into his playing, making for some highly-entertaining performances.
While the venue can hold 216 people under existing COVID restrictions, tickets for CPAC Studio Sounds are limited to 80 to create a truly intimate atmosphere.
