The Lower Belford venue has teamed up with the NSW Government and ARIA to bring present an amazing regional outdoor concert experience as part of the Great Southern Nights: Land of 1000 Gigs initiative, which is designed to help assist the recovery of the state's live music industry due to COVID-19.
Award-winning acts Shane Nicholson & The General Waste and Kevin Bennett & The Flood, along with exciting local Hunter Valley singer-songwriter Anna Weatherup, will perform at the special one-off show at Dashville on November 28.
Expect a slew of quality tunes from multi-award-winning country/roots singer-songwriter Shane Nicholson and his band The General Waste.
With three ARIA Awards, 10 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards, an APRA Award and six solo albums under his belt (plus his seventh on the way), this critically-acclaimed artist is regarded as one of the country's finest songwriters.
Always a hands-down live favourite on the festival circuit, Kevin Bennett & The Flood will have plenty of material to offer up from their five critically-acclaimed recorded albums when they take to the stage.
Anna Weatherup's blend of alt-pop/rock and roots has seen the Cessnock-based singer-songwriter's style be compared to early Fleetwood Mac, Lucinda Williams and Alanis Morissette.
Expect to hear her latest singles, the hauntingly beautiful Little Bluebird and soaring Climb - a taste of what to expect from her forthcoming new album Crossing the Sea.
