CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SPECTACULAR
Hunter Valley Gardens' Christmas Lights Spectacular continues nightly until January 26 (closed Christmas Day). Tickets must be bought in advance at hvg.com.au.
LIBRARY WORKSHOPS
Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Libraries will host a range of activities for kids of all ages throughout the school holidays, rhyme time and story time for the little ones, arts and craft sessions, and magic and chess workshops for teens. Bookings are essential; full program at libraries.cessnock.gov.au.
HOLIDAY PROGRAM AT PCYC

TRAIN RIDES AND MORE AT RAILWAY MUSEUM
Ever wanted to ride a steam train? Richmond Vale Railway Museum is open from 9.30am every Sunday of the school holidays. The museum has a range of exhibitions on railway and mining heritage. Entry is $16 adults, $11 concession, $7.50 children 5-15, with under-5s free.
THE GRUFFALO'S CHILD AT CPAC
