The air show was held at Cessnock Airport in 2019 (and at Maitland prior to that), and event spokesperson Andy McLennan said this year promises even more excitement.
"The term 'bigger and better' gets thrown around a lot, but this year it legitimately is," he said.
This year's air show will include an impressive range of vintage, modern and military aircraft, formation and aerobatics displays in the sky, and on the ground there will be the Hot Wheels stunt team, a car show, motorcross displays, military vehicles, amusement rides, kids' activities, markets, food and a beer and wine garden (hosted by Around Hermitage).
Online registrations for food and market vendors and event volunteers will close at the end of February.
The air show will run from 10.30am to 4pm on March 13 and 14 at Cessnock Airport (entry on Grady Road, Pokolbin; via Debeyers Road).
