U3A WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS
Cessnock U3A is welcoming new members for 2021. U3A stands for "University of the Third Age" - the time of active retirement. The Cessnock branch invites over-50s to join the worldwide movement, escape potential boredom and meet new like-minded people.
This year's courses include petanque, craft, Tai Chi, book club, coffee and chat (discussion group), walking group, social afternoons with guest speakers, music/films and Balance and Bones exercise.

The library will host a talk about the hidden 'herstories' of Cessnock on Monday, March 8. Hear the stories of inspiring, yet hidden, local heroines at this special International Women's Day event.

PARKRUN
Nulkaba parkrun has resumed at St Philip's Christian College. The free, timed, five-kilometre run is held every Saturday at 8am. Register at parkrun.com.au.
