Described as the "sinister little sister" to the more-established Gum Ball music festival, PigSty is scheduled for Saturday, July 3.
Front End Loader played at the last PigSty in 2018 and will be joined by funk cats Jazzparty and fellow Melbourne soul disco band Vaudeville Smash at the top of the bill.
The rest of the line-up includes an array of Hunter and Newcastle bands, including psychobilly gurus Casino Rumblers, colonial punk lords The Bottlers, heavy rockers Bloody Hell, punk stalwarts Bitchcraft, indie-rockers Jet City Sports Club, Punk Rock Hilly Billy, progressive funk cats Well? and Maitland '60s psych pop-rockers Autumn Hearts.
Previous PigSty festivals have featured Kiwi rockers Shihad, L-Fresh The Lion, Wolf and Cub and The Porkers.
A host of comedians will also be announced soon to join the boutique festival.
As usual, punters are encouraged to follow a "second-hand formal" dress code. Camping and bus options are available.
