The volunteer-run service was set up at the school by the Red Cross in 2001, and has recently resumed after the COVID shutdown.
The club's philosophy is to ensure students get a healthy breakfast and the best start to the day.
"It's all about the kids," says original volunteer Dennis Moore.
"Some of them will recognise you down the street years later, and you know they must really appreciate it."
Dennis, his brother Gordon and Gordon's wife Cheryl were among the original volunteers, along with Pam Kilduff, Iris Burston, Hannah Baird, Keith Woollett, Lawrence Ellis, Frank Southam, Fay Ingram, Beryl Mitchell, Ray Stacey, Christine Morris, Joyce Collyer, Eric Collyer, Joan Chesworth, Marg Batey, Lola Rutherford and Margaret Billing.
Some of the original volunteers have sadly passed away, but the club has welcomed many new volunteers over the years and is now encouraging the younger generation to come on board.
The breakfast club operates Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9am to 9.25am, with a view to resuming five-day service soon.
To volunteer or donate, contact supervising teacher Louise Stewart at the school on 4990 1652.
