Originally the Dashville bash at Lower Belford was scheduled for July 3 before it was shifted back to July 31. This week Dashville chief Matt Johnston made the decision to postpone until August 28, given the situation in Sydney has continued to worsen.
The PigSty line-up includes Melbourne's cult outfit Jazzparty, '90s alt-rockers Front End Loader and Newcastle acts Bloody Hell, Well?, Bitchcraft and more. Jazzparty will use the opportunity to showcase tracks from their new album Nobody Gets Away, due for release next Friday.
Meanwhile, the COVID crisis hasn't prevented Dashville from beefing up the bill for their heaviest festival, Thrashville, on September 11.
Legendary Beasts Of Bourbon and Scientists guitarist Kim Salmon is bringing his latest outfit Kim Salmon's Smoked Salmon to Thrashville alongside Melbourne punks Cable Ties and legendary Radio Birdman offshoot band The New Christs.
Johnston and his crew are hoping life might return closer to normality come spring when their Dashville Nights series returns from October 22. The performances on October 22, November 19, December 10, January 28, February 25 and March 25 will feature live music, dinner and camping.
