Hunter Events' Bar and BBQ Festival at Dalwood Estate has been postponed until the weekend of January 22 and 23, 2022.
The festival was originally scheduled for the first weekend of July, and was then moved to the October long weekend when the Greater Sydney lockdown was introduced.
"Due to health advice from the government and the ongoing COVID-19 situation, after discussions with relevant authorities and event partners, we have decided to postpone the Hunter Events Bar & BBQ Festival," director and event founder Louise Manning said.
"The health and safety of our guests, exhibitors, entertainers, staff and community are our top priority.
"With the government's vaccine rollout on track to be getting us back to normal by the end of the year, all the health advice points to January being a safe bet for us."

Ms Manning said it's going to be a full-throttle weekend of entertainment, with delicious food, drinks, BBQ showdowns, Aussie FMX stunts, bands, pub trivia, rides, kids' entertainment and more.
"We're working hard on exciting new summer-themed entertainment - think water slides and misters instead of fire pits and marshmallows!" she said.
All previously-purchased tickets have been transferred to the rescheduled dates.
Tickets for the new dates are on sale at huntereventsbbf.com.au.
The festival will make for a big weekend in the Hunter Valley, with the rescheduled Red Hot Summer Tour show at Roche Estate also to be held on January 22.
