Find holiday inspiration, plan your trip and book it online - all in the one spot. That's the latest offering from exploretravel.com.au.

Explore, the travel section of ACM, Australia's biggest independent media company and publisher of this website, has teamed up with tech platform Travlr to deliver a one-stop travel experience for readers.

Visit book.exploretravel.com.au to go straight to the booking portal. From there, you can search for accommodation, flights and activities just about anywhere in the world.

Or search for a deal, and let the Explore team suggest a special package holiday - from a weekend getaway to longer journeys around Australia and further afield. How about a visit to Fiji's stunning Kokomo private island? It's one of the deals available for this weekend's launch of the booking service.

The deals are put together by Explore's experienced team of holiday specialists who have access to tens of thousands of hotels, resorts, cruises and small group trips and will be working with some of Australia's leading travel companies. More deals in more destinations will be added as borders open up around the world.

"We know our readers are keen to get back to travelling," ACM's managing director Tony Kendall said. "After the past two years of lockdowns, even getting away for a long weekend holds excitement."

A recent poll of Explore readers found 90 per cent were already planning a holiday; 73 per cent of them were looking to travel domestically for starters, with those heading overseas favouring the UK and Europe as their first destinations.

"We wanted to make it even easier for our readers to realise their travel dreams," Mr Kendall said. "Our Explore team has been providing the inspiration and the independent travel information and advice that our readers can trust. Now we are taking that another step through our association with Travlr and the fully integrated booking platform online."
