Established in 2003 under the expertise of Martin and Michelle Sierra, the Victorian State Ballet has a repertoire based on the grand ballets from the 20th century, neo-classical and contemporary ballets originally choreographed for the company.
Featuring an outstanding cast of leading classical ballet artists, Cinderella immerses the audience in the fairy tale classic, with inspired staging, superb technique and mesmerizing choreography that celebrates this time-honoured tale.
The choreography is rich with virtue, sensibility and grace, intrigue and outstanding skill, and is expertly paired with the hauntingly beautiful traditional musical score by Sergei Prokofiev - this is classical ballet at its finest.
The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are on sale at the CPAC box office, by phone on 4993 4266 or online at cessnockperformingartscentre.com.au.
