Club staff member Greg Ingle is an avid collector of Australian war memorabilia, having accumulated thousands of pieces since he joined the army in 1970.
Mr Ingle served with the Royal NSW Regiment second battalion at Singleton, and is a member of the Kurri RSL Sub-branch.
His most recent exhibition – held at Cessnock Ex-Services Club in April – had an excellent turnout, with people from as far away as Canberra calling in to view the rare items on display.
So he decided to expand this exhibition to three days, either side of Remembrance Day.
Uniforms and Navy search lights will be among the new items on show.
The exhibition can be viewed in the Cessnock RSL Hall auditorium on Friday from 9.30am, Saturday from 11.30am and Sunday from 9.30am.
Entry is free and all are welcome.
NOTE: The original version of this story said the exhibition would be held at Cessnock Ex-Services Club. The exhibition has been moved due to the club’s closure on November 8.
