More than 400 of the nation’s best young male footballers in the 13 and 14-years divisions will participate in the competition, which is hailed Australia’s most esteemed junior football tournament for boys.
Twenty-six teams from around Australia will contest the two age divisions.
The Northern NSW Metro under-13s side (chosen from the Hunter Valley, Macqu-arie and Newcastle zones) is dominated by Emerging Jets players (including Blake) with all bar one coming from that team.
They will compete in Group A against Capital Football, Football West, NSW Metro, Queensland Metro, South Australia and Victoria Metro.
The championships conclude on Friday.
