Aberdare mum and adrenaline-junkie Rochelle Brady (nee Magin) is back on her Yamaha 450’ and will be vying for a national title at the Senior Australian Long Track titles this weekend.

An avid competitive motocross racer for most of her life, Rochelle took first place in the NSW Dirt Track Titles at Oakburn Park Tamworth last month qualifying her for the national event.
Rochelle competed against other female riders from all over the state and had a successful day winning four out of five of her races.
Her success landed her the title of Senior Women Track Champion for NSW.
“I also competed against my husband, Danny in the over 35s class gaining thirs place, however Danny got the upper hand this time coming second,” Rochelle said.
Rochelle has been racing motorbikes since the age of four and after 20 years of national and state-wide competitive racing, she decided to focus on starting a family.
Now after a 10 year hiatus, Rochelle is back on the bike.
“I have always loved the sport,” she said.
“I love the adrenaline rush too.”
Rochelle has also been invited to the night of champions’ awards which includes a cocktail dinner held at the end of the month in Sydney to honours her success.
“I am very thankful for those who encourage and continue to sport my racing career, and in return I hope I can be inspirational to others as I am not ready to slow down yet.”
Rochelle’s four year old son is continuing the family love of bikes and has just learnt how to ride a pee-wee.
Rochelle and her husband hope this means motocross will be seeing their faces for a while yet.
The Australian Senior Long Track titles will be held at Tamworth Showground this weekend.
