A flurry of Brazilian dancing and music could be heard throughout Cessnock CBD on June 17, as an Optus Cessnock staff member found out she won a trip to the Rio Olympics.
Brazilian dancers and drummers entered the store in quite spectacular fashion to inform the winner of their prize.
Georgia Parkinson was the lucky winner announced during the sensational display performed by Rhythm Brazil.
The 22-year-old was selected from a nationwide internal Optus promotion, based on the greatest increase of mobile sales for May and reporting on their stores merchandise compliancy.
Cessnock was one of the top two stores, along with Box Hill in Victoria, and a winner was chosen from each store for the prize.
Ms Parkinson was excited and shocked to be announced as the recipient.
She and a friend will embark on their trip in time for the Olympics in August.
