Kurri Bulldogs player Ryan Walker has been selected in the NSW Country Firsts side to tour Samoa.
The five-eighth was one of 18 picked for the side to play two matches on the tour in October.
One of the games will be against the Samoan Residents and played as a curtain raiser to the historic Samoa v Fiji test match in Apia on October 8.
Walker was the leading try-scorer in the 2015 Newcastle Rugby League season, scoring 13 tries in 13 games.
