Nominations for the 2016 Cessnock Customer Service Awards close at midnight this Sunday.
About 400 nominations have been submitted for this year’s awards, many coming from new businesses.
"It is really uplifting to see so many new businesses, as well as existing, being nominated for a customer service award,” Cessnock Chamber of Commerce president Geoff Walker said.
“It goes to show that Cessnock businesses are really embracing customer service, which is so important.”
Anyone who makes a nomination will go into the draw to win 100 Cessnock Dollars (to be spent at participating businesses).
Look for a nomination form at your local business, or nominate online at www.cessnockcustomerserviceawards.com.au.
The awards will be presented at a James Bond-themed gala dinner at Cessnock Leagues Club on September 2. Tickets are on sale at www.cessnockleagues.com.au.
