NSW Greens Senator Lee Rhiannon will be in Weston on Wednesday morning.
Ms Rhiannon will join Cessnock Greens councillor and mayoral candidate James Ryan as well as other Greens council candidates at Peace Park at 11am.
The visit is to announce the Greens' local government plan for regional roads, cycleways, walkways and local infrastructure.
The plan includes building an off-road cycleway to link Cessnock and Kurri and a funding plan for maintaining and upgrading regional roads, cycleways and walkways.
