A record audience packed out Cessnock Leagues Club on Friday night for the 2016 Customer Service Awards.
A total of 251 people attended the ceremony to hear the winners of the awards.
It was a tightly contested competition, with a record number of 248 individual entries from 700 nominations.
The winners were:
- Jonathan Lee – Goldman’s Produce (overall and retail).
- Emmie Hallett – Undeniably Noisy Project (community service).
- Kate Archer – Sign Style (trade).
- Kieran Mackenzie – Cessnock Leagues Club (hospitality).
- Fiona Bright – Greater Bank (professional).
- Shayne Herring – KFC (business owner).
- Lesley Radnidge – Samaritans (hall of fame).
Chamber president Geoff Walker said he was pleased with the outcome of the awards.
“There was a wide range of people from all sorts of industries,” he said.
“It’s great to see people doing all different things for the betterment of the LGA.”
