Cessnock’s representative cricket team made the trip to Scone to take on Upper Hunter in the third round of the state-wide knockout cricket competition.

With an awkward period to face before the break, Upper Hunter turned the game on its head and had Cessnock in tatters at 4/19 at lunch.
Enter game one hero Greg Andrew (41) and captain Barry Richards (50) to again put Cessnock in the driving seat.
Quick wickets left Nathan Holz and Bryce Element in charge to guide their team home in the 34th over.
