The Damien Leith show at Cessnock Performing Arts Centre has been rescheduled after it was cancelled on Saturday.
The show was called off due to the fires which affected various parts of NSW, including Cessnock, over the weekend.
The performance has been postponed to Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 8pm.
Cessnock Performing Arts Centre said on their Facebook page that Leith performed in Port Macquarie on the Friday night and ran into road blocks on his way down to Cessnock.
The centre has advised that they are in the process of transferring all tickets across to the new date.
However, if ticket holders cannot attend on that date, contact the box office and they can organise a refund for you.
The show was part of the former Australian Idol’s 10th year anniversary tour.
The Winner’s Journey – 10th Anniversary Tour will allow audiences to take skip down memory lane as Leith reflects on music from his eight studio albums, as well as many of the untold stories of his career to date.
“It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since I first stepped onto the Australian Idol stage,” Leith said.
“One thing is for certain, I wouldn’t be doing what I am today without all the amazing support from fans over the years.”
