Kirsty has been dancing for 38 years and has been teaching dance for the past 24 years.
KGAD offers classes in many forms of dance including tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, modern/contemporary and the popular tiny tots classes for children 18 months to three years.
The tiny tots classes are designed to help develop coordination, balance, rhythm and social skills as well as a love for music and the art of dance.
Parents/carers are encouraged to join in these fun classes with their children
During 2016 KGAD’s students had the opportunity to perform at many local events throughout the year including Cessnock Performing Arts Centre, Relay for Life, numerous local school fetes, local community festivals, spring fairs and several Carols By Candlelight performances at different locations around the local community.
Students also had the opportunity to compete at numerous eisteddfods throughout NSW and have also participated at many different workshops with leading dancers/performers from around the county.
Several opportunities for the KGAD Performance Team and students have already been planned for 2017.
So whether you’re looking for just fun, concert, exam and eisteddfod classes, KGAD provides a fun, friendly, relaxed and nurturing environment for all.
Enrolment day is Tuesday, January 31 at Abermain 4pm to 6.30pm. Classes resume on Monday, February 6.
