A man has died after a car accident on Mount View Road, Cessnock on Sunday afternoon.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was on scene with emergency services and Cessnock District Rescue Squad volunteers.
A Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service spokesperson said emergency services worked to free an 18-year-old man from the vehicle, which had left the road and collided with a tree.
The man later died in hospital.
