Families will be able to indulge that fascination with trains of all sizes at Richmond Vale Railway Museum on May 20 and 21.
The annual model railway exhibition showcases models from tiny N scale to miniature ride-on trains, while access to some of the display layouts is only available by riding the museum’s full-size passenger train.
“Our exhibition is unique in that aspect,” exhibition organiser Elaine Rowan said.
“Nowhere else in the country do you have to ride a train to view the model trains.
“We have some new model railways on show over the weekend, which I’m sure will interest families and enthusiasts alike.”
Exhibition hours are from 9.30am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
The museum is at 262 Leggetts Drive, Richmond Vale.
Admission is $16 for adults, $11 concession, $7.50 children five-15 years and children under five free.
